Cevisama 2019 Valencia – For Ferro something new!



Ferro made a strong market statement at Cevisama as it presented materials and specialties from recently acquired brands: VetriceramiciSPCQuimicerGardenia Quimica and Endeka. In our showcase space – decorated for the occasion in Japanese Eastern philosophy fashion – the most important materials from all brands were represented within different product display areas. We paid special attention to the presentation of grit products for outdoor finishing, which showed how simple surface differentiation can change the material’s end use. Another area of high interest was the showcase of Krystal products, used to realize tiles with the appearance of onyx with great chromatic impact, and the Cosmic series, designed and manufactured by Iris Ceramiche. These materials aroused considerable interest, particularly because this was the first time we showed the aesthetic effects of “Bright Krystal” at an industrial level. A Cevisama edition rich in aesthetic and technical contents, we were awarded the 3rd prize, Best Booth Design.  Most important, many customers paid a visit and expressed appreciation for Ferro’s innovative advances and expanding service to the ceramics marketplace. Aside from our display of tile applications, Ferro announced at the fair our collaboration with Zschimmer und Schwarz to explore further technological advancement of water-based inks.
